No Senator Who Votes For Immunity Today Will Ever Get My Vote
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 11:21 AM by ThomWV
If anyone in the Senate plans to vote in favor of immunity for the telecom industry they better not plan on running for national office. This year or in some later election cycle, a vote for immunity means no vote from me.

This one breaks the camel's back.

1. The same for any Senator who votes "present" or claims to be
unable to attend because of a long-standing campaign commitment.

This one does break the camel's back.

5. Have already e-mailed 'puke senators suggesting they uphold the Constitution and oaths of office or
just leave a la Lott.

3. I should add, this includes my vote for either Senator Byrd or Rockefeller
I have called each of their offices, they know exactly how I feel.

6. Thank you, from east of Morgantown - and welcome to DU
I called them before Christmas when Dodd first stood up and stopped this nonsense. I called them last week, what was it - thursday or friday? - and let them know how I felt again. Then I called again this morning bright and early, just to start their day out on the right foot.

I'll call again tomorrow too if a fillibuster breaks out. One can only hope.
