Looking to the north in Iraq -

I am not coordinated enough to get a photo to post.

But I think this is the operative photo/map.



We are not going to invade Iran I think. Our army has already been trashed. But some trouble makers that have an interest in causing trouble for us have a golden opportunity to really screw with us.

It was quiet again today up there. But when this does break, look south and west of the city of Kirkuk. If it is going to break it will probably break there. See the pipeline - cause that is also about where the roads converge. And if they can manage that kind of mischeif - they are also now well practiced at taking down our 1980's helicopter technology.

Those kids do not belong there in Iraq. I feel strangely sanguine in knowing my kid is Baghdad and not still up north. I want those kids out of there right now. Nothing good can possibly come with them staying.

Also, I have not forgotten about the VA. I have been on hold a lot the last two days trying to find out if there is really a procedure for non-family visitors. I still don't have a real answer.

I meant what I said about welcoming all that will go and spend time with the guys and checking politics at the door. When I really know the answer to the question I will post it.

I cannot check in all the time here - schedule does not allow it - but I will when I can and I will post when I can. I wish a pleasant weekend to everybody.
