Giuliani hints at possible exit from GOP race
Top of the Ticket at the Los Angeles Times reports that Rudy Giuliani may be laying the groundwork for quitting the Republican nomination race if he doesn't win the Florida primary tomorrow.

In the back of his chartered plane on the way to St. Petersburg, the blog says, Giuliani told Times reporter Louise Roug and others, "The winner of Florida will win the nomination." Though he went on to predict he would win, "that's an unusually categorical statement," the bloggers note.

Soooooooo, if the Ghoul drops out, who do you think will pick up his supporters?

The Mittens?

McInsane?

Huckagomer?

Or...someone else?

6. Yeah, I would agree with that....
...and that would probably put McCain ahead of Romney.

4. My personal theory is that Rudy is campaigning only to have everything paid for
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 06:41 PM by ProgressiveFool
He's just living high on the hog for a year or so, fleecing those dumb enough to support him. He's a con-man, simple as that, adept only at playing people's fears.

So I think he'll lose Florida and decide to continue campaigning all the way to the convention.

9. I have an ULTRA conservative friend who is truly a nut...
...on many things including national security and he backs Rudy. He and I had a conversation about two months ago and he asked me who I was backing and, of course, he was backing Rudy. So, I asked my pal, "If Rudy is elected, what dress do you think he will wear to his inauguration?"

Ummmmm....my pal did not think that too funny at all! :hi:

8. 9iu11iani has supporters?
Other than Judiskank and Bernie Kerick, I thought they already left the sinking ship weeks ago.

13. Dragging out the psychic prediction I heard that the Rep ticket will be
McCain/Giuliani.

Is that possible?? I really didn't think anybody would want to associate with Rudy too closely, but McCain had some warm fuzzy words for him in the last debate.
