Rudy's humiliation demonstrates his larger failures...his inability to strategize.

After the first WTC bombing, he moved the emergency command center into the belly of the beast. When the going got tough in the campaign, he developed this ridiculous non-campaign strategy. America is very fortunate that this man never moved beyond his mayor-dom.

The only good side of this (besides the guilty pleasure of seeing the man thoroughly emasculated), is that Fox News, Rudy's biggest promoter, has also been reduced to irrelevance by virtue of their Rudy-love. Rudy is officially a has-been and historical foot-note. He's a frikkin' joke. And I'm loving every minute of it.
