I think Hucklebee has been either tied or leading in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Tennessee all of which go to the polls on Super Tuesday--they are natural states for his base and I can see him winning each of them. Also with his $$$ I think Romney still has a chance to win Colorado, Montana, Utah (he has been doing well in all those mountain states) and Massachusettes and North Dakota caucus. The only states I see firm for McCain are Arizona, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and maybe West Virginia.

I'm not sure which GOP candiate truly has an edge in Alaska, Delaware, Illinois, Minnesota and California, but Mitt sure has the bucks to buy the ads in Illinois and California and could get a bunch of delegates even if he loses.

I hope there race continues on for a while. Why should the Dems have all the fun!

1. It's generally considered
That Huckabee is still in the race to keep votes away from Romney. Since the two oddly appeal to the same base. The idea floating around is McCain will need a solid southern religious right VP choice if he's going to attract the most loyal republican voters. All of which is saying Huckabees job is to keep states from going for Romney and then throw his support for McCain and be the VP choice. The one thing that's clear is that all the other men running for the Republican nomination HATE Mitt Romney.
