It makes me sick as my start page is yahoo. If the image doesn't get off these soon I'll have to get a different start page for the time being:

27. There are conservative idiots everywhere
Why the need to bash every single person in Australia?

About a third of Americans still support Bush. I suppose that means every single one of us is a stupid idiot.

7. Somebody should interview those boys
it might be they sound more like Young College Republicans than Australians.

Rove probably flew in a cheering section and no expense to the U.S. taxpayer was spared.

Nice looking sign, looks like astroturfing.

Supporters of US Vice President Dick Cheney hold a banner outside the hotel where he delivered his Australian American Leadership Dialogue in Sydney. Cheney on Saturday met Australian Prime Minister John Howard, one of Washington's staunchest allies, for talks likely to focus on troop deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.(AFP/Torsten Blackwood)

Edited on Sat Feb-24-07 11:50 AM by Straight Shooter
They're just identifying with Cheney, that's all. ;)

(No offense to the good Aussies, of which there are many.)

on edit: The caption says "supporters." I guess two people qualifies as "supporters," LOL!

36. I believe that a lot of those outcast criminals were
Irish members of the IRA who were in war with their English occupiers. I could be wrong on this, but that is what I have heard. So I would not want to lump the rebels in there with cheney. I would say those colonist that ran the plantations that took advantage of indentured servants and prison laborers were more to his liking.

I use to love those 70's Aussie tv mini series, especially those that dealt with their history. :7 Ok, I'm not really basing my post on those mini series, but I did like them. Beat the US ones hands down.

26. I would bet anything that banner came from the White House, much
like the "Mission Accomplished" sign just magically appeared on that ship - right after the White House design, ordered, paid and shipped it to them. KKKarl or one of his minions staged that photo op - it is what they do. Hell, they probably flew in the College Republicans because they couldn't find enough Aussies willing to hold the damn thing up.

Thousands protest and yet they find a "crowd" of two to pose for the pic. Is one of those guys Howard's son? He did work on the re-election campaign of Chucklenuts and Dead Eye Dick in '04.

If someone can identify everyone in the Florida 2000 photo, I wonder if we can figure out who those two guys are and their group membership.

29. All two of them...
looking very proud to hold that sign up. The guy on the left's gut is hanging over and he doesn't look so pleased to be there. The guy on the right has violated the US Flag Code (by wearing it) - some way to respect the nation you love.

There isn't even a third person to hold the sign in the middle. That's telling.

That banner is WAAAAAAAAY too perfect to have just been whipped up by a couple of guys who love Dick Cheney.

Methinks it was in the coat closet on Air Force Two on the way over.
