Does Riggins' "Loosen up Sandy baby, you're too tight" say something good or bad about the USA?

That's what the Redskins running back famously said to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor back in the 80s.

On the one hand, I think it shows how much we value freedom. You can walk up to someone on the highest court in the land and say something dreadfully rude to her.

OTOH, I suspect that only a successful football player could get away with that, which demonstrates we have different rules for the rich and famous.
