Former CIA Agent: "Nuclear proliferation cannot be controlled now" (mentions Sibel Edmonds)
Feb. 4, 2008

http://oraclesyndicate.twoday.net/stories/4677486/

A former American CIA agent and nuclear expert David Dastych has claimed that main nuclear arsenals of Pakistan, India, Britain, France, the USA, Russia and China are safe but nuclear proliferation could not be controlled now because it has completely slipped out of control.

...

Q: Do you know anything about some US officials selling nuclear secrets to others?

A: I do, but only through my American contacts in the Intelligence and the FBI. Some corrupt US officials of the Department of Defence and State Department facilitated the theft of US nuclear secrets (technology) from American national laboratories -- Los Alamos and Sandia -- to customers in several countries, including Pakistan. This procedure involved Israeli and Turkish intelligence and also Pakistan's ISI.

Dr A Q Khan's laboratories were brokers for nuclear proliferation to other countries, including Algeria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, Myanmar and other states looking for nuclear technology. This information first surfaced five years ago through reports of a Turkish-American FBI translator, Ms Sibel Edmonds. She was gagged by US court decision and only recently she disclosed more information, which is still being blocked by the Bush Administration. It was revealed in part by three articles, published by "The Sunday Times" in London on the 6th, 20th and 26th of January 2008 (with my contribution).

...

An informal group in the Mossad composed of right-wing operatives and working hand-in-hand with the Turkish and Pakistani Intelligence was offering US nuclear technology to some Arab countries and to other countries. They did this for profit and, in some cases also for political motives, for example, to get direct proof of some foreign states illegally purchasing nuclear materials or technology.

At present, this might be used as a justification to prove that Iran is developing nuclear weapons.

4. So, basically, we know that Iran is buying nuclear weapons,
because we know we have corrupt officials in the DoD and State Department facilitating the sale of them through our allies in Turkey, Israeli and Pakistan?

Anyone know if the corrupt DoD and State Dept. officials have yet been incarcerated?

6. I hear that even corruption in the Justice Department is tied....

into a certain case (INSLAW) that could be tied up in all this. What can you do except overhaul the entire government?

11. I would like to be naive enough to say, how dang hard is it to
pinpoint corrupt people and get rid of them? But, I know too well how easy it can happen when the entire system is breached. You just keep greasing enough people, and pretty soon, the corrupt people outnumber the boyscouts.

7. What is particularly distressing, he mentions baseball sized neutron bombs....

that could be smuggled onto ships, or worse yet, into cities?

FYI, neutron bombs produce a burst of deadly neutron radiation, which is not as destructive to physical structures as other types of bombs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutron_bomb

8. And why are none of the "Free speech " alternative news shows reporting this?
Edited on Tue Feb-05-08 05:53 PM by BeHereNow
Free Speech TV is having their fund drive right now-
I called in last night, not to donate, but to tell them
the reason I wasn't going to donate was because they
were complicit with the corporate media in blacking out the
Sibel Edmunds story along with Waxman's stonewalling
in taking action given what HE knows.

Now there's some news that MATTERS
and not even Amy Goodman has touched it.

So much for alternative news media, eh?
