and a cold snap will kill them off.

but then, who knows, winter may be over for the DC area and they will jump right over Spring into Summer.

6. Well, the Senate is in session today. That's always good for a few degrees.
The hot air that comes out of our politicians mouths is one of the causes of global warming.

7. It's 55 in the Cleveland area.
A telling tale? The Home and Garden show is at the IX center around this time every year. And every year at this time, it's usually so cold it burns your lungs and skin (5-15 F on average, lower if you factor in wind chills). On Sunday, it was 40 degrees. I could wear a coat without lining in it. Didn't need a hat.
