$3,000,000,000,000 - three TRILLION dollars
And this president has the NERVE to say that his MULTI-TRILLION dollar budget will bring spending under control! What a fucking liar - and the sad part is, he'll probably get what he wants, because our Democratic leaders in Congress are too spineless to offer more than token resistance. Oh, they'll bitch and moan about it, they'll huff and puff mightily - but in the end, they'll tuck their tales between their legs and give * what he wants. Hell, they'll even add their own projects to the budget, even further inflating it.

Has this country become this desensitized? We're not talking about Monopoly money here, we're talking real fucking money.

5. Good point
Compared to 3 trillion, a hundred billion is a very small number. Just goes to show you how out-of-control this president is.

And he belongs to the "fiscally responsible" party.

4. how much is 3 trillion?
just saw this in WaPo (I think)...

1 million a year for 3 million years.

17,000 round trips to the sun = 3 trllion miles

or counting one count per second, it would take 95,000 years to count to 3 trillion

8. More info...
It would take a spacecraft traveling at the speed of light over half a year to travel that many miles.

15. in this morning paper
it is 120 million trips around the earth, If it were divided up there are about 6.8 billion people on the earth and every single living person would get 441 bucks, if it was only to the 300 millions americans we would each get 10,000 bucks. Counting to 3 trillion at a rate of one number a second would take almost 95,000 years.

6. Violence Against Women Funding
Well, he did strip all funding for Violence Against Women Programs. This means our local domestic violence shelter would close unless the Dems put the money back in.

7. $3 trillion ain't so much when viewed in context of where the dollar has been
going and what it's likely to be worth in coming years, the next decade, the next generation following more than a quarter century of 'puke fiscal and tax maladministration. Don't we all feel so much stronger and safer as a nation. :D

Seriously 3 trillion?

Thank god they can just print more up.Hey,maybe they can just put it on a credit card?

OK... 3 Trillion and they can't spare any for healthcare for the people they get the trillions from but the war machine keeps rolling along.

When the hell are people gonna wake up & DEMAND some changes??

Oh wait, we're too busy fighting over if Hil's tears are real or Obama smokes cigarettes.

10. Utterly fiscally irresponsible and insane.
This regime is deliberately bankrupting this country. Of course NONE of the current candidates, of either party, will stand up and scream bloody murder about this. Candidates and Congress should hang their collective heads in shame.

13. He's a businessman who is using the country like a shady investment.
And profiting from it, leaving the bill for us to pay. This is what he's always done. Google up "bush failed businesses".

Don't people get that he's mocking us to our faces, and always has been? That he's not suddenly going to begin doing good things for the country? A fox in the henhouse does not suddenly egg sitting.
