The Location of Presidential Debates
More of my two cents worth on the subject:

- New Orleans hosted three College Bowl games, they just finished hosting Mardi Gras and now the city is getting ready to host the NBA all star game, then the Jazzfest in April and yet per the powers that be, New Orleans isn't ready to host a Debate between two people. I'm not advocating for New Orleans to get anything but I'd rather the knuckleheads in charge would just tell the truth. Oxford, MS is getting a debate and yet the city does not have the requisite number of hotel rooms.

Just put me in charge.

1. Democrats need to gain votes among southerners, small towns, and college kids....
So... wallah! Oxford, Mississippi!

You can't make everything about New Orleans

2. I don't
I could not possibly care less if NOLA gets a debate, but it would be nice if the reason given were the truth instead of some ludicrous nonsense. And I was referring to the presidential debate in the general election. No doubt, Barbour had some influence in Oxford getting the nod.
