Why do they run ads saying "So&so's the most liberal . . ." and
we don't run ads saying "Dipshit's the most conservative . . ."?

When did liberal become a bad word? Why isn't conservative just as bad?

How come they get to define us and we don't get to define them?

This sucks.

1. Well. . . back in 2000, the same group that's calling Clinton &
Obama "The most liberal Democrats EVAH" called Gore "The most liberal Democrat EVAH.. and in 2004 they called Kerry (you got it) "The most liberal Democrat EVAH!

And of course it was bullshit then and it's bullshit now. God Bless Bernie Sanders and Dennis Kucinich!

3. They've spend 30 years
equating liberalism with bestiality and Stalinism. It has worked. "Conservative" doesn't have the same connotation associated with it. "Right wing" might work, though. It's a lot more accurate too: There's nothing conservative about the agenda these guys are pushing.

5. Agreed.
My point is that the entire discussion is being held within the verbal framework they created, which means that they win the argument by definition. To get past this, we need to break the frame and stop using the language and definitions they have provided for us.
