I can empathize...my FIL is the same way...

I remind him that Hitler loved his dog,was popular with women and children, was a vegetarian, condemned smoking, and had a weakness for apple-peel tea, and cream cakes...

If only he had stayed in his apartment in Vienna and devoted himself to his artwork, and living his otherwise healthy lifestyle...

There would be about 50,000,000 more people or their descendants alive today...
