I'm depressed. I feel physically sick by this:
On my way to work this morning I was listening to the only AM radio station I can get(the FM stations I can get are just noise or music that doesn't interest me). It is KKOB in Albuquerque. They play Rush starting at nine o'clock am, and earlier in the morning they play tidbits of his show as an incentive for people to listen to his broadcast. HE JUST LIES!
I know you know that. I know it is not anything new. But, God damn it. Somebody damn it.
He was saying that Carter and Clinton and the democrats have demolished the CIA and Bush has saved lives by fighting AL Qua eda etc. It is so sickening to me because I know people who believe him. It is like since he is on the radio it has to be true. And they have Hannity on in the afternoon and Savage on at night.
So, when I got here I called the station. I expressed how I feel rather well. I told the lady, Jennifer Davis, who is actually one of the hosts of the morning show before Rush, that it is just like the propaganda that occurred in Nazi Germany. I told her that it is just lies. I told her it is so absurd that I felt that I just had to say something. I expressed how we own the air waves and not the republican party. She was very nice. She said she was sorry I felt that way. I said I was sorry that she didn't feel that way. She said she couldn't do anything about it anyway. She gave me the number of the program director. Pat Frisch is his name and she gave me the number to call and said that he would be in at 9:00 am Mountain Standard Time.
That is a half hour from now. I am going to call him and tell him about the lies. Please call him too. Let's swamp his phone line. The number is (505) 767-6700.
It is the least we can do. Will you help me? It will help me feel better.
