Fla. Man Arrested For 101st Time
Fla. Man Arrested For 101st Time

A group of suspected drug dealers recently arrested in Putnam County includes one man who has been arrested more than 100 times.

Alger Scott was arrested for the 101st time on Wednesday.

"We have a policy in our office, and have had for a long time, that if you deal drugs and we catch you and can prove the case, we're going to be seeking a state prison sentence. The sentencing is up to the judges," explained state attorney John Tanner.

In addition to Scott, 50 other suspected drug dealers were arrested as result of a yearlong police investigation called Operation Rock Star.

11. I had a DUI once
Not proud of it but it's something that happened. They wanted to throw me under the jail and put me away for life for my very first and only arrest in my life unless I paid a lot, and I mean a lot for fines and for classes to attend or else. I knew and still know about a half dozen people with multiple offenses, even with suspended licenses and they said to me, "wow...you had to do all that?"

Speculation by me and several others who had the same thing happen to them, if they know or think you can afford the higher fines then the harsher the sentencing versus someone whose arrested without a job or they know they're a returning customer to the system.

Sounds silly and cannot prove but WTF?

13. I had EXACTLY the same experience in FL
I would have bought a house for my 22nd b-day, but lost my investments and didn't recover financially for seven years.

Becoming involved with the legal system is no different than becoming involved with the mob - once they have you, they own your ass.

14. That's where all this has happened
To me and the ones who keep getting off.

Nobody to blame but myself but out of all the $200 for this class and $600 for substance abuse counseling (even though I pissed clean and was clean) and all the other $$$ mandatory things, I had to attend a class by MADD Mothers which was only $6.00, yes only $6.00 and it was the most informative, educational and life changing class versus the rest that seemed to be created just to give a bunch of hypocritical assholes a job. Most of the counselors at the expensive and mandatory classes were busted and arrested for drugs and sexual harassment as I heard and read in the news over the months that followed. The same people who threatened all of us in their classes by saying they'd violate our probation and other stupid shit if we dared yawn or act like we weren't interested in what they were saying.

I'm sure you dealt with the same and I'm really sorry you lost your home but I'm still thankful we never lost our lives or took someone else's  :hi:
