4. I miss Mike here in Chicago
Just before the Presidential election of 2000 they took him off.

Nova and Air America are not Progressive radio. We have them on 850Am out of Crystal Lake. Is he off those?

Air America still hangs onto the "Bin Laden hoax story of 911".

What other cities is Mike on?

2. Sounds like KTLK's "republican-lite" strategy isn't working and
they have decided to go back to their liberal base. This is fantastic! They got rid of Ed Schultz and that irritating Mr. K for drive time. My husband is thrilled--something to listen to when he drives home at night.

8. At one point was called Mr KABC.
He's been around several different radio stations in LA.

7. Mr. K would never tackle Democratic issues--
the most exciting developments could be happening in politics, and he would be talking about traffic gridlock on Sunset Blvd. I need more meat. I can't take Johnny Wendal either--too much loud assertion. I think Johnny will still be a fill-in, though.

9. I have a very guilty pleasure ...
I LOVE Frangelina! They CRACK me up!

We've now made it a point to make sure and listen to them on Saturdays.

10. wow, I think they sound like Hoops and Yoyo
I can't take them for more than 2 minutes - they make me want to drive off a cliff - and they don't exactly talk about progressive issues - the way they talk over each other and cackle --- I just can't stand them.

and, funny, but I like Johnny Wendell

Different strokes for different folks, eh?

:toast:

5. Ed Schultz was on here in the Chicago burbs
too. I didn't like him since he clung to the "Bin Laden is out to get ya story". Glad he's gone in some markets.
