AGGH! Another "vote Democrat and you're aiding and abetting terrorism" slur. Bite me Romney!
Edited on Thu Feb-07-08 05:21 PM by Pacifist Patriot
WASHINGTON - Mitt Romney suspended his faltering presidential campaign on Thursday, effectively sealing the Republican presidential nomination for John McCain. "I must now stand aside, for our party and our country," Romney told conservatives.

"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror," Romney told the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.

:wtf:

Okay, let's see the media rip him to shreds over that comment. Come on, any minute now. *chirp, chirp* Yeah, that's what I thought.

GGGRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

3. Are the sons speaking out in favor of the war?
The only reason I ask is because I cannot in good conscience hold adult children responsible for their parent's political stance. If the boys are in favor of the war, they should get their butts over there and fight in it. Otherwise, they're old enough to have minds of their own. Well, one would think.

Is not that one of the most obnoxious concession comments you've ever heard? As if in-fighting between two GOP candidates would somehow result in the voters slapping themselves on the head and saying, "aw shucks, I think I'll vote for a Democrat because I just can't handle the mental stress of more than one candidate in the race...oh and yeah, I think I'm ready for terrorists to take over our country."

What bullshit!

8. Absolutely right
and sometimes kids disagree with Mom/Pop but here's the thing: if they support their Dad in the election, they support the war, no?

What better way to show your support than get your ass over there on the IED Trail, like so many others?
