BREAKING NEWS

The plane carrying U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney from Australia to the United States was diverted to Singapore on Sunday because of unspecified problems, Australian Prime Minister John Howard said.

"I am not aware of the full circumstances and I have not been told except that it has been diverted," Howard told reporters in Sydney.

having a hard time with heart problems while flying. Mike Wallace had a heart attack on a plane, and I recall a number of other people doing so. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

Maybe - the word is out amongst the MSM and Beltway Boys - that Cheney will develop medical problems on this trip that will prohibit him from finishing out his term and he will have to resign.

Perhaps Libby's is going down and given a deal to take Cheney out to save his hide.

of the current administration running in the next Presidential election after 8 years of a presidency. (Think George H.W. Bush and Al Gore.)

Dick Cheney won't be doing that, because he's already been President for the past 6 years. :P

Cheney's plane fine after small problem

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Vice President Dick Cheney's airplane had a small mechanical problem but there were no safety concerns and the aircraft was scheduled to make a planned refueling stop in Singapore after his trip to Australia, the White House said on Saturday.

White House spokeswoman Emily Lawrimore said there was a problem with a generator on Cheney's plane but it posed no safety issues and the aircraft was fine..."

Edited on Sun Feb-25-07 12:03 AM by ToolTex
Now you just have to know that after 6 years of bushies that every room in that courthouse is bugged by at least 16 different intel groups. All of which report to dicky. And he may already know that there are no born-again hold-outs on Libby's jury. Tough-titty for Scoots and then Fitz may be trolling for Lynn's favorite squeeze, her sneering little Dick. He may just be looking for a more secure home in Singapore, than the one he bought in Maryland.

Just another tinfoil moment brought to you compliments of Big Oil right here in River City.

65. The Singaporean Air Force forced it down
SINGAPORE (Spurious News Network) -- Spokesmen for the Singaporean Air Force reported today that they forced down an airplane carrying the Vice President of the United States from Australia to the United States.

"They said there was a deranged war criminal on the plane," said Major Li Huang, the pilot who forced down the vice president's jet. "By Singaporean law, we were required to bring it down."

Huang, flying an F-16, and his wingman Brigadier General Ng Chee Khem, one of the most experienced F-16 pilots in Singapore, intercepted the vice president's Boeing 747 when it first entered Singaporean airspace and escorted it to Singapore's Changi Air Base (West), where it was thoroughly searched for the deranged war criminal.

"Unfortunately," said General Ng, "the deranged war criminal turned out to be the vice president. We gave him back to the American Embassy because as bad as he is, his boss is even worse."

"Our men performed admirably and will be commended," said Singaporean president Sellapan Rama Nathan, "but they also caused us a huge problem. Changi Air Base (West) is very old, and the runway is not long enough for a 747 to take off from. Changi Air Base (East) has the necessary facilities, but the runways are not connected to each other. What we are going to have to do so the American government can have their plane back is to remove the wings, use a big truck to tow the fuselage to Changi Air Base (East), put the wings back on it and allow it to go home. The runway is quite short for use by a 747, but a student in our air force's loadmaster course calculated the weight and balance and determined that so long as the vice president's fat ass isn't on the plane when it leaves Changi Air Base, it should be fine."
