Poll question: What issue gives the Democrats the most leverage in the general election?
In addition to voting in this poll, please reply to state why the issue you voted for favors the Democrats and gives them an edge in the general election - IF they choose to place emphasis on it? If the issue you think is the Democrats' strongest card is not listed here, please reply with your choice.

1. All of the above
Considering how badly the 'Pukes have failed in every one of those areas.

2. Economy/Jobs will be the main focus
Most of the others will be of smaller significance and for some will be the deciding issue...

example of a possible voter: I hate them both on the economy. But, I like them both on immigration. However, I like A better than B on Iraq. So I'll vote A.

Economy will be first for about half if not 60% of Americans.

4. Steroids in baseball.
I'm proud our of elected officials who have the courage to set aside other matters and hold hearings regarding the conduct of grown men playing a game for a living.

5. Obama will end the war in Iraq
Obama is the only candidate of either party (except for Ron Paul) who has promised to end the war in Iraq.
That's why he has as much support as he does among Democrats.
IMO, if he keeps hammering the war issue and blaming the war for the bad economy, he can win the nomination and the election.
There are many Republicans who do not want to pay for the war or send their kids to die in it. They do not enjoy being called anti-American or anti-Semitic, so they shut up.
Just the Ron Paul votes could tip the balance in Obama's favor. Ron Paul voters will never vote for McCain.
:wtf:
