If you were locked in a room full of Iraq War and Bush supporters...
What would you do? What would you say to them? Would you fear for your life? Could you change any of their minds?

After a lifetime of defending Liberal traditions against my least intellectual siblings ... I would do well enough ...

6. My chickenhawk sister-in-law recently tried to convince her brother (my husband, who
is a career Air Force officer) why he should support the war in Iraq (he thought it was a bad idea from the start). Yes, he's been to Iraq, and deployed twice in support of the war to the Middle East, and she's never so much as stepped foot inside a recruiting station, yet she presumed to lecture him on why it was important not to "cut and run". I wasn't at that particular dinner--it was...uh...tense, by all accounts.

7. I would go in wearing protective clothing
I deal with these people a lot since I am an anti-war activist. They are not only stupid but hateful.

If I had a choice, I wouldn't go in the room at all.

13. That tends to be my reaction as well.
They are similar to the rabid fundamentalists I dealt w/ growing up. They lack the ability to think logically.... what's the point.

9. It would depend on who the Bushites in question are.
If they're strangers, I would try to reason with them, knowing full well that it won't do much good.

If it's my family, I keep my mouth shut. It's not worth hurting my relationships with them.

I think that Repuke round-up would be cleared out quickly.

If they're still a Bewsh supporter, they're too far gone at this point. Incureables, we call them.
