10. i don't give a rats ass about hockey or sports, i was a very tall, uncoordinated autistic kid everyb...
kicked the shit out of all the time, my team/their team... i don't need that bullshit as an adult. i came here because it was the only progressive civilized forum on the net

we are being invaded and destroyed from within.. surely you can pick a freeper out of any crowd... that or a whole lot of people got really bad attitudes and lost 30 IQ Points in the last month or 2

20. i dont watch any sport that has institutional violence and foul play, not sport, teaches children ba...
values..

all thru my childhood, as a seriously disabled child, a nearly mute autistic, i was physically and emotionally abused.. criminally abused tortured/tormented without anyone protecting me, on a daily basis till i graduated high school. i suffered broken ribs from being tripped and kicked, sprains from twisted arms, damaged tendons from people stomping my feet and ankles, then i had to go home and be beaten by my drunken father

as a 59 year old adult, i just don't have any interest in watching violence of any kind.

i am frequently just literal, probably not what you were referring to. i get protective of others.

If anything Bettman's NHL tried to discourage the fighting which did not work for the players or the fans. Also what ruined hockey was moving teams from cities with long time fanbases to warm weather cities that don't care, inflated prices ($60 a ticket for a game?) and inflated player salaries.

Frankly Hockey is a blue collar sport that needs to be marketed to a blue collar family. What family can afford to spend $240 on tickets and still pay for parking, food and souveneirs?

That is the problem. When I go to a Milwaukee Admirals game I can go to the game for $32 on the glass with my son and we have money to eat, park and get a t-shirt or whatever.

21. HAHA!! That was awsome!
They beat the shit out of each other, and then hug and be friends when the refs stopped them. Hockey's great, but its not worth it for me to try since I cant skate worth shit.

5. In the long run we could all benefit from a fighting attitude
We need to be tough to beat THEM. Here it can be more like practice sparring before the big match. We need to have the will to get in the Republicans faces and speak the truth. As for hockey, I live down south and I thought like most southerners that fighting was half of the game.

13. I've noticed a lot of new members who are posting like mad.
They are saying anything to get their count up. It has taken me since July to get to 722. I have seen some who have passed me after being here for a very short time. Of course I only post if I have something reasonable to add. These posts that only say "Exactly NT" or "LOL NT" are tiresome sometimes except, of course, when they are saying it to me.
