Question on the youth vote
someone wrote a diary stating that it's stupid for anyone to be excited about the youth groundswell for Obama as they don't vote.
I say it's a falsehood.
Like older adults, youth won't vote if there is no one for them to be excited about. Some boring establishment candidate. If they have someone who fires them up, just like the older adults, they will vote.
Older adults do not go out of there way to vote for a boring candidate.
Many say they won't vote if the choice is Hillary, for example.
But, Obama gets them and older people excited. So I say the youth will go out to vote for him.
Or a Dean. Or someone who fires their imagination.
That the youth don't vote is a stupid assumption.
What do you think
