3. You don't have CBS in Asheville?!?
Wow, that blows my mind. I thought CBS was nationwide.

11. His 'takes' on abu Gonzo, Hillary, and Sneer are right on target.
It's exactly how'd I'd want to respond myself - leavened with just the right amount of humor, except for Sneer, who's just too thoroughly evil to laugh at.

I think it's remarkable that he was featured on another network. His baseball card collection is very impressive. I LOL when I saw how fast he could type with one finger.

:loveya:, KO!

edited for stupidity :dunce:

That was really funny watching him type so fast with one finger. Just think how fast he could go with ten!

12. Two surprises
The size of his office. It looked very small and windowless.

He goes to work on the subway?

14. He doesn't drive because of a loss of depth perception
caused by a head injury. In 1980, he hit his head on the top of a subway door while running into the waiting car.

15. The media is notorious for small offices ...
... expecially for the 'talent.' Production staff, of course, get desks/workstations crammed anywhere they can be shoe-horned, rarely with any privacy. Only the bureau chief or top executive gets an office large enough to host more than one or two guests, and usually that one doubles as a conference room for senior staff meetings.

Once upon a time (over 30 years ago), I had the opportunity to visit the inner sanctum of NBC News and met Harry Reasoner when he was the anchor. My wife at that time was good friends with one of the senior producers, Bambi Tascarella. So, when visiting NYC we met Bambi for lunch at Rockefeller Center and got to visit the offices. Crowded. Space is at a premium and not squandered on humans. It made the visit even more valuable - since they sure don't have the space for wandering 'tours.'

I personally think Keith's office was representative of his high stature and the scarcity of office space.
