Did Anybody Else happen To Hear Pat Buchanan This Morning?
On MSNBC...The VERY weak Mika was filling in for Joe Scars and Matthews and Pat the Mexican hater were on together. He is already depressed that his and his sister Bay's candidate dropped out last week. So he's on there trying to warn us all (good democrat that he is and all) about the dangers of Barack Obama as our nominee, and how John McCain and the republicans will "peel him like a grape"

4. Aw shucks. Pat has a track record of backing the best candidates! NOT!
I am surprised he didn't say "crack him like a watermelon", or "peel him like corn on the cob".

5. Pat is looking terrible today (physically)
I think Obama worries him to death because he is as charismatic as the good saint Reagan. He kept talking about how no one knows what Obama's positions are and I saw Chris Matthews try to get a dig in there about how Reagan started out in 1980.

I think Pat is very worried :-).

11. It's funny
I just had a discussion about how racist the California Raisins were and now Buchanan is comparing him to a grape.

What is it with grapes/raisins and race?

And what the hell does that make Hillary? A Prune? No... pretty sure that was Reagan? What then?

15. Yeah. Translated: Buchanan thinks that Hillary is the nominee that GOP wants to face.
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 11:02 AM by Buzz Clik
Every rightwing insane pundit will have a field day if Hillary is nominated.

Buchanan is about as subtle as a brick through the windshield.

Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 02:52 PM by Buzz Clik
The GOP has their political machine currently calibrated for Hillary. They know all the hot button issues with the knuckledraggers and how Hillary sets them off.

Nearly every rightwingnut believes in their heart of hearts that Hillary can be beaten. They are not nearly as certain about Obama.

I don't trust him (particularly when it comes to supporting Democrats), so I'm assuming he has an unspoken agenda.

27. His rationale was, get this, that Obama
is all about the emotion but doesn't have any real homework behind his rhetoric. I guess Pat didn't take the time to read Obama's 60+ page blueprint, available at his website. Guess Pat is too lazy to do HIS homework. The spin is in: Obama is too young, too inexperienced, and doesn't have any real plans. Well, good luck with that, Republicans. If that's the best you have, you've already lost.

29. So, a bigoted right-wing talking head pontificates about one of our candidates
and - surprise, surprise - in the so doing attempts to "warn us" about "the dangers" of that candidate as our nominee. And I should care what this proven asshat has to say.....why?
