I don't post topics often but here goes..

I am so fucking sick of Hugo Chavez in the press. He is one step away from shaving his snooch and hanging out with Paris Hilton..

He is a petro pimp, he takes in BILLIONS of dollars from us. We are THE consumer of the only product that he sells. So shut the fuck up, take my money and sit down buddy. Go figure out how to build an airframe, supercomputers, or do something useful so when petro goes away we don't have to feed you.

We support his economy. If some kid ad Berkley figures out how to run my car on beer piss Chavez's military is going to pop him in the brain. That is his margin call.

So he is a nice guy, great. He bashes Harry Reid, the US in general, and hangs out with fucksticks from Iran.

At least the fat guy from Exxon way polite when he was picking my pocket. BP too. He was quiet and didn't get in my face while taking my wallet.

I wish him no harm, but if he went mute next week I wouldn't complain.

Can we get some bio fuel and hydrogen going so we can keep our money and starve the assholes who sell us oil (canada and mexico not withstanding).

This is not a thread to discuss geopolitical evil of the us. How much GW sucks, etc. If this goes in Lounge, sorry.

2. Solar would be great

I have used it on boats and it works pretty well. It has come a LONG way in ten years.

You can now roll it up and then lay it back out. Flexible. Little bit pricey.

Hopefully congress will take the oil grants and fund grants into alternative fuels on a infrastructure scale.

We need a delivery system to replace petro.
