I used to think that when future humans dug up remains of our civilization
they would find us simple and quaint.

I imagined a H.S. field trip, pimply faces children gently brushing the dust of ages from our TeeVee’s and Blackberries...

But it won’t be like that at all.

Future forms of Homo-sapiens will discover artifacts of our ‘magical’ society and interpret that we were Gods.

:(

1. If we don't scorch everything into oblivion.
We may end up just one big molten clump.

Sorry, bad day.

4. You assume there will be "future humans".
I'm betting on the cockroaches myself.

5. *If* they can figure out how to study us.
For example, what would an archaeologist from the year 3000 think of a CD? I mean, if they found a vinyl LP record, they might figure out that the spiral groove maps to sound waves (although they would probably play the thing backwards, learning only that Paul is dead). But a CD? No way. The info is so tightly coded they would never figure it out.
