1. No thanks
Barbara Boxer is one of the best senators we have. She will probably be running against Arnold. So, no thank you.

4. Our governor, Arnold S, who played the terminator in the movies
will probably run against Boxer. I don't know if Boxer would keep her seat in that case.

7. Arnold is very popular in CA at this time
Arnold energized a lot of voters when our duly elected Dem governor was recalled, mainly because Californians blamed him for the electricity outages when Bush/Cheney first took office. I don't know why the people here didn't blame Bush and Enron. They were clearly the guilty parties, but the good guys don't always win in politics.

3. I'd send Boxer money for herself any day of the week, but this looks like it
Edited on Wed Feb-13-08 06:43 PM by MasonJar
is for something I may not care to get involved in. Yes, I desperately want a 60 vote dem majority and then we can see who is to be eliminated by their votes with or against the majority. However, I am saving my small funds for the candidates who think like me...especially whoever is running against Mitch McConnell.

6. Of all the punitive, breath-holding "protest" strategies I've seen here
this has to take the prize for most off the wall.

No, I will not be joining you in a misplaced protest against one of our greatest senators.
