The reason I donated to DU

Although I know I'm not the only one who can say this, I'll say it: I'm so busy I barely have time to brush my hair. Still, I want to hear the truth, not the persistent lies and bs I hear from the mass corporate media. The Internet? That's an awesome and wondrous place but quite a jungle maze and I can get lost in it. If I tried to look on the Internet for the truth, the latest real news, facts, real statistics, get encouragement and ideas on what we can do to get our country back from the neo-fascists of the GOP, it'd take me forever!

Instead, I'm able to click on DU and find all that, people of like minds (like all of you), and so much more.

If there's a scandal and I want to know the latest, or the truth, I go to DU. If there is an election and I want to know the latest, I go to DU. If there's a question I have that I need answered, I go to DU. I go to DU all day long! It keeps me totally up to date on everything. Every day I learn things on here that I never knew and likely would not have learned unless I'd been in this forum. DU is just very simply PERFECT for me, so how could I not support it? I'm literally afraid to be without it!

So please, if DU is of use to you, even if you can only spare a couple of bucks, please donate. It's my forum and yours.

Unlike some of the other left-leaning boards or blogs, I've always enjoyed the discussion on DU, and have given before.

And the weekly "Top 10" is worth at least $10 right?
