How To Defeat McDubya. It's Your War,
Attack the strengths of your opponent. McDubya's(thanks Middlejoan) current and ONLY strengths are his perceived Independent nature, and his military career.

Today, he gave us one opening. He voted in support of torture. He has fallen on the side of chimpy on many of the most divisive issues. He has taken up the reigns of the warronterra. As his fellow Servicemen who served beside him, and were tortured beside him, must be wonder what he remembers of it those experiences as he cast his vote today.

He has sealed his fate with this vote, and how tightly he has tied himself to Iraq. Iraq is a stone that he will try desperately to cut loose from as it's cycle of violence restarts. He is proud of, and takes credit for what is happening in Iraq. He sings the sweet song of surge, even as its violence reduction effect ebbs. We will reach and pass the grim milestone of 4,000 US Soldiers killed in this Unnecessary, Illegal War. And, my friends, he wants more. Iraqi Parliament is nearing disbandment. He owns it now, He owns it in August. Don't let that slip.

As for his Independent streak, one just needs to look back on the past 4 years, as he has aligned himself with the chimp. He has sold his maverick brand for the cowboy. America is sick of the cowboy. His strengths are weak.

Let's stay on him.

Flashback: McCain Calls Vietnamese "Gooks"

The John McCain campaign is on a roll, and here's even more good news for his 2008 race to be President. He's no longer calling Vietnamese people "gooks" - at least not in public.

Back in 2002, the Senator told reporters, "I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live." While McCain was referring specifically to unsavory prison guards during his time as a prisoner of war, his comments made Vietnamese people go crazy. You can still read some of the accounts at AsianWeek.com and AsianAM.org.

A day after his comment hit the papers, John McCain released a statement saying, "I apologize and renounce all language that is bigoted and offensive.”

According to onlinedictionary.com, the word "gook" can also refer to "any thick messy substance". There is no information at this time as to McCain's feelings on that kind of gook.

Please return to VoteForBreakfast.com in the coming weeks to see what Hillary Clinton says she never said about a Jewish guy.

Presidential candidate Mr Breakfast will continue to point out the foibles and goofs of all the candidates (regardless of party) until they reveal a position on the importance of breakfast.
