Poll question: What do you plan on doing with your Stimulus Package?
How do you plan on spending the money?

2. I admit that I fail when it comes to money and economics and stuff
So actually I'm not sure if my husband and I get individual ones for a total of $1200 or if we just get $600 as a couple.

If it goes both to us, I imagine it will go into the bank account and be used for paying bills. If I get my own, I will be sending it to my mother to help pay her bills and for groceries and stuff.

I imagine it would go to all sorts of bills, not just the rent or utilities in particular.

14. So is mine.
I've decided that's the only option for me. My husband is donating his to whoever -- Hillary or Obama -- for the campaign vs. McCain.

29. Send them a note saying...
The public needs more ads showing them what "liberal" and "progressive" really means, and has given them in their everyday lives, as opposed to conservatism.

This is to tamp down the tsunami of outrage.

28. this almost deserves to go in a sig line
Clearly, TV manufacturers and sellers want us all to believe that we need a $2000 TV by next February. It's going to be hard to convince people that almost everyone's current TV will work just fine.

10. Maybe 2x$40 in vouchers yet to come
The most economical route may be to buy an external digital-to-analog converter box, which is a digital tuner with an analog output that will let older TVs receive digital transmissions after the switch. Since January 1, the federal government has been offering households two $40 vouchers to defray the cost of designated devices, which cost $50 to $70.

BUT, if I do end up with any of the "trickle down" I will either use it for survival now, because we are so destitute it ain't funny...

OR I had the idea to use it to buy supplies for survival when martial law comes down the pike... you know, batteries, canned goods, items to barter with, etc...

OR better yet...how about a ticket out of the country?

That's really the most prudent use of it.

If it doesn't come out of my taxes next year (yeah, right!) I'll probably leave it there as incentive to add more :)
