I've noticed of late that they are getting better. But that radio-shop $200 PA ain't gonna cut it. Obama started to yell at his events and this is due to poor sound arrangement. Stage monitors help the speaker hear him/herself and stops the instinct to yell.

Plus, tuning the mics.

When you're a rock star you have to have the stage equipment.
