Geffen angry with Clintons

Geffen wanted Clinton to pardon Leonard Peltier and Clinton decided to pardon (Scooter Libby's) client of 10 years - Mark Rich .

My wife heard this on the washington journal Host on CSPAN last week while a reporter was interviewed .

8. Good luck. I see you've already been singed. I posted an item about this

and was FLAMED TO A CRISP. Before anybody justifies by saying that my link was to the dastardly NY Post, I'll disclaim by saying it was to one of the gossip columns, Page Six. Yes, I know MURDOCH owns the rag AND owns NewsCorp (Faux), but I first was exposed to Page Six, Cindy ADAMS, and Liz SMITH via the E! channel, and have found them to have their own credibility. Cindy is a swimmer in the cocktail circuit, collects Names as "friends" on both sides of the political spectrum although she is definitely a wingnut, is friends with both the PATAKIs AND the CUOMOs. And Liz is a friend-of-Bill (CLINTON) and labels herself as the only Dem at the NY Post.

Anyway, there are frequently items about politics in all three columns, and these old style gossipers adhere to higher standards of journalism than most "real" journalists.

Btw, my item said the pardon angle was just a cover story for GEFFEN. That his real reason for breaking with the CLINTONs was that Bill has become close to another zillionaire (grocery business?) and now stays at HIS manse instead of GEFFEN's, and that this zillionaire also bugged GEFFEN by also showing interest in buying the LA Times that GEFFEN wanted.

9. Every time Geffen is mentioned, it brings to mind all the high

rollers who stayed in the Lincoln bedroom. Say what you will, it wasn't pleasant practice and this entire affair is a reminder that Bill and Hilary got a lot of money from some fairly unattractive people.
