Charles Barkley says he'll run for Governor of Alabama (as a D) in 2014
Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 04:24 PM by girl gone mad
I was watching him on Wolf Blitzer's show just now.

He said he bought a home in Alabama in 2007 and he has to wait 7 years for residency before he can run.

He also stated he's for gay marriage and is pro-choice and he lambasted what he calls "fake Christians", people who claim to be Christians but are judgmental and refuse to forgive.

5. He sounded dead serious.
Wikipedia says he was born and raised in rural Leeds, Alabama.

6. Wow! He has really changed a lot...
He used to be so obnoxious. I thought for sure he was a Republican before.

10. lol..
I just overheard my son tell my husband that he agreed with everything that basketball player was saying. :)

It was refreshing to hear him refuse to back down even after Wolf warned him that Christian Conservatives were going to be pissed.
