1. How about March of the Wooden Soldiers
With Stan Laurel as Bush, Oliver Hardy as Cheney - they press a button and send the soldiers out and don't know what exactly is gonna happen, but assume it'll be good.

2. LOL, I didn't think of that one
but doesnt it work out for the best in the end? Unfortunately I don't expect a good result from Bush. In fact, the only positive I see in this administration is that it sets the bar for 'bad example'.

3. Nah
remember Stan and Ollie load up a cannon with darts and it ends up shooting Ollie in the ass.

5. Well
none of the evil doers die, they just go away for the moment. If there was a sequel, they'd probably come back.

7. I see similarities
given life from the blood of the innocent
administered by slithering creatures
supporters cowards who vowed allegiance in return for power

Some of the similarities I see.

But at another level, he who should not be named was competent and creative and evilly genius. I wouldnt chose competent, creative or genius for those two.

8. Cheney still reminds me of Mr. Potter from "It's a Wonderful Life",
right down to the crippled physique mirroring a crippled soul. Not a children's story, but I felt like saying it.
