Isn't It Pleasing This Beautiful Weekend To Finally See Bush On The Run?
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 10:52 AM by ThomWV
You can bet events of this last week shook Bush. If he can't win on the FISA immunity issue he is dead meat. It appears the House will stand firm. He's on the run now. He has no one left to hide behind, even Bolton is on his way down. Gonzo is gone, Ashcroft is gone, Rummy is gone. Condi is keeping her distance (one wonders about Laura's role in that); the bible-thumpers have turned their back on him.

What a beautiful weekend this has turned out to be. Who would have guessed last monday that it would turn out so pretty?

1. I hope he spends a great deal of time in the next 10 months
counting the days until he wings off to Paraguay.

3. Naw he'll never make it past the Netherlands. Bush and Cheney are both going to get their day
in court just like all criminal do, that I would bet on if I was a betting man

2. Somehow, I Think There's Only One Thing That Really Has Bush Worried
Clinton losing the election. He expected to be effectively pardoned by Hillary the way Poppy was effectively pardoned by Bill.

5. Then you will appreicate this
When I saw that Hillary did not return to Washington to vote against the FISA immunity she lost any chance at all of getting my vote for either her candidacy or if our system fails and she comes up the nominee then for President. It was a deal breaker and she lost the deal. That, and as much as I hate to say it, I agree that giving her the Presidency would be giving Bush a pass. I do not trust her to persue the criminal activity of the last 7 years.

11. He'll Only Run From Impeachment
They just chuckle at these other displays of DC-Dem impotence.

War criminals still cackling away in the WH is in no way pretty.

12. More pleasing was seeing most of the Rs in the House RUNNING FROM BUSH
by doing a sham walkout instead of casting a vote they cannot defend in the Fall!

They RAN like antelope, faster than a speeding bullet, away FROM BUSH! Hilarious in its transparency!
