Baghdad, February 19, 2008

At least five people were killed and 16 wounded, including two US soldiers, in a barrage of rockets on a US military base in the Iraqi capital, the US military said on February 19.

The incident took place when insurgents fired a series of rockets on the Victory Base Complex in southwestern Baghdad on February 18 afternoon, a military statement said.

Citing initial reports, the statement put the toll at five Iraqis killed and 14 wounded, eight of whom were transported to a US military clinic for treatment.

Two US soldiers were also wounded in the attack on the base, which is located within the perimeter of the Baghdad airport, it added.

4. I think the US has Sadr in custody some where so I think he will extend it
I can't find any evidence that he has been seen in public for almost a year.

5. Cow Nazi TV Ads...
Oberweis is running ads saying something like "we know the surge is working"...and sadly people are believing it.

How many American have been lost in Afghanistan and Iraq in the past week? And where is our "librul media" in even mentioning how things are "working". The ugly war has been put outta sight outta mind and the biggest deniers (who are the biggest proponents) now have the juevos to say how things are "working".

With the 40th anniversary of Tet, some of us can remember how we were "winning" that war as well...
