It's a crying shame
that america let the media pick its Presidential candidates. If there was any real difference between the present contenders you all would'nt have to be yelling so loud at each other.Too bad the candidate that really represented change got shortchanged because,as you all kept repeating,he just isn't electable.Well keep screaming at each other as loud as you can.It won't make a bit of difference now. There is no doubt that any Dem will be an improvement over this rethug nightmare. It's just a crying shame America wasn't really ready for change.

1. Well, this thread belongs in GDP not GD
Second, there is one major difference (for me) between the two.

One voted for the IWR and one was against the war from the start.

And it's a big deal to me.

You see, I view those that voted for it as have failures in judgment. And that's not something I want in our President. I think it's a lot more important than experience or race or gender or oratory skills or looks or most other policy matters.

There are a few other things that I find are different as well. But it's sufficient to just look at the beginning of the Iraq War. The Iraq War is going to be our largest foreign policy blunder in the history of the United States. The biggest. Bigger than Vietnam (not in lives lost, but in terms of loss of influence in a region which is critical to our well being... even if we wish it wasn't so). More profound and long lasting.

Sorry, that's the way I feel about it.

And while I will defend one candidate against the attacks by supporters of the other, I won't myself launch attacks on their candidate. Both have the big D after their names, it's time both campaigns and all their supporters acted like it. But don't tell me that they are both the same. Cause their not.
