Poll question: Does it bother you ?
Does it bother you that the media outlets break down everything into race and gender?

I ask this because it does me. Why must we keep seperating ourselves? Why do i have to listen to someone say "The white vote" or "the black vote".

why must we seperate ourselves so much.

so the first line is the question;

Does it bother you that the media outlets break down everything into race and gender?

3. At this point of the race, I get the feeling that most people have stopped
looking at Obama as the "black guy" and at Hillary as "the woman".

I may be too optimistic, but I really feel that the majority of us are just paying attention to the PERSON and what s/he is saying.

Drives me nuts that the MSM pushes everybody into a CLUMP with others.

4. Of course.
It really bothered me last week when I heard a CNN prmo, promoting that exact thing. And they were acting like they were doing it for the first time ever.

Hell, that's what much, if not all this race has been about, at least from the prospective of the MSM.

5. One could argue that it is the reality of the situation. But...
the media way over does it.

6. The objectification of human beings is our basest corruption.
Whether it be in treating human labor as a commodity or engaging in objectification of sexism, racism, or jingoism, it is the single most pervasive ethical perversion of our 'culture.'

"Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of any other, always at the same time as an end and never merely as a means." (Immanuel Kant)

7. Women are a majority and yet can't elect many candidates

Maybe they should vote as a bloc like ethnic minorities do?
