Why did Thom prostate himself to Neil Boortz?

He let Neil take over like it was his show. Boortz controlled the whole conversation, then THom had to even admit that he only dead 40 pages of one of Boortz's book. Thom usually does well, he just wasn't properly prepared this time. A cursory reading of the book comments on Amazon would have given him better ammunition. How are you magically going to pay for this fairy tale would have been one way. Or he could have taken calls and let a knowledgeable caller expose the fair tax scam.

Like Limbaugh, the sound of his voice angers me. Not all interviews work out, take this one with a grain of salt. For sure, no right wing talky would give Thom a minute of air time, so give him credit for for giving Neil the opportunity to listen to his ideas.

I've been listening for years and was hooked almost immediately. He has had RW'ers on pretty much since the beginning of his show and used to do very well at arguing against their ideas, and showing the listeners how to do the same. I will admit that he hasn't done very well in that respect over the past year or so. For that matter, the general quality of the show isn't what it used to be. I find he stutters and stammers and jumps from one thought to another more than in the past. It may be his burn out or mine, or his ADHD, but there are times I just have to go off and do something else. One reason I rarely listen to the RW segment is that most guests mostly deny the reality of facts or viewpoints if they disagree with their ideology.

I appreciate what Thomm does, especially the historical references. It might just be that he is over-extended and not able to prepare as well as he used to. You have to admit that there is too much to keep up with these days, especially for us old farts like Thomm and me.
