14. The -12 degree clear night

made viewing the eclipse perfect. And my daughter and I watched it together 1200 miles apart!

15. The moon is reddish brown and slightly brighter

at its southern tip and it is flanked in the on 3 sides by either planets or stars. Very beautiful.

A cold front blew through DC just after it began and cleared the coulds out. It was beautiful - kind of dusky red and gray with all the details clearly visible.

20. Same here- Low-level clouds rolled in, and I caught just a few glimpses of the event.
