made viewing the eclipse perfect. And my daughter and I watched it together 1200 miles apart!

15. The moon is reddish brown and slightly brighter

at its southern tip and it is flanked in the on 3 sides by either planets or stars. Very beautiful.

19. Sorry y'all missed it.
A cold front blew through DC just after it began and cleared the coulds out. It was beautiful - kind of dusky red and gray with all the details clearly visible.
