1. I don't think this story is over yet.
I'm waiting for NYT or somebody to bring out the next chapter.

4. Maybe someone told him
Edited on Thu Feb-21-08 02:40 PM by Mz Pip
to not call anymore attention to himself regarding this issue.

If this is all there is to the story, it will probably blow over. If not, it will be a huge mess for McCain.

20. Ah ha! Bill's brother.
I just caught a quick glimpse of him on TV, and I knew the name wasn't right, but I thought he looked a lot like Mr. Virtues.

9. He sure sounds guilty. I think all this talk of a set-up is premature.
There are too many players on opposing sides to believe they could pull this off smoothly.

IMO, McCain fucked up bad and he's in full-time CYA mode until the next chapter is released.

6. Withdrawing from the race would make the most sense
He is damaged goods now.

He needs a Republican president to keep him out of the slammer so it might be best to leave now while he is behind.

23. Did you see the way she LOOKED at him during the press conference?
Scary, scary. I think she knew this was coming and wanted to rip his face off. No wonder he was so giggly and nervous. GUILTY written all over him!

Just the thought of having to look at her for 4 years as First Lady...no,please god, no, I can take anything but that...

7. I'm guessing he's being heavily sedated--his temper is legendary.
He's been known to have minor explosions (but more thann hissies) locally.

If he loses it at a presser, he is so done.

10. They're probably running polling and want to know the results so he knows what to say
I'm not sure how this is going to play out with the Republican voter in the end yet. I'm hearing one thing from the voters and another from the Republican pundits.

There are three things going on right now

1. The lobbyist younger woman so-called scandal

2. The FEC allegations and personal loan problems.

3. He might not have enough signatures to get on the Indiana ballot.

Not a good sign. Is this an accurate up to date chart and is it a progressive chart?
