So I was getting a cup of "coffee" from McDonalds, and Fox News was on in the seating area.

The talking heads were droning on and on about how the NY Times had been irresponsible about the McCain story and blah blah blah. Then some idiot started reading letters from the listeners.

"I'm a lifelong Democrat who was supporting Obama. But after this, I'm voting for John McCain." Right. Barack Obama made this all up and leaked it to the Times. And we all know how many lifelong Dems listen to Fox Noise.

"This story is a smear by the Hillary campaign to salvage her struggling run for the presidency." Of course it is. If you want to beat Obama, the best way to do that is to drop a bomb on the leading Republican.

Do they grown them any dumber than the morons at Fox? And what of the braindead sheep who watch?

4. Welcome to DU!
I never said I was watching. I was listening to the audio.

I'm sorry I insulted your favorite network.

2. They have TVs in McDonalds?
Not in my area.

But it's not really surprising. They're all on the same "team".

6. I frequent two McD's in our community with televisions.
Big, flatscreen puppies with couches and overstuffed chairs for viewing.

5. The creepiest part is that the morans have now been trained to lie.
"I'm a lifelong Democrat who watches Fox Snooze and defends John McCain!" -- not that they lie very well but they should get something for trying.

9. My dad should write in...
It would never be read, though. He's a life long Republican who voted as a Democrat for the first time in the CA primary! I didn't even ask who he voted for! I was so proud:)

I think the reality is closer to my dad's story:)

11. It's funny because I know there are a lot of people like your dad this year.
But I bet he doesn't sound like those folks that call Washington Journal and give the standard rap, "I've been a lifelong Democrat BUT --" like no one has ever heard that before ten times in that same call in period.

Hey -- maybe there's hope for my uncle this year! :)

22. When will Hubby admit he's a Dem now?
:silly:

First I thought, poor seabeyond... then I thought, wow! That hubby of hers must be uber cool if he is from Texas and is a Republican, and he STILL votes for Democrats! That's a lot of history and peer pressure to overcome! Yay for both of you!!

8. Another Faux Noise exclusive indeed...
they are good at making up this type or bullshit. I would never pity a politician so much that I would turn and vote for'em.

The next time your in McDonalds, ask them to change the channel to something more suiting like at the least MSNBC.

10. Do not know about you,
but there have been times when I watched as a member of a captive audience. I would not watch as a regular thing but I have been where the TV was on and turned to Fox News. There have been times there was even a sign on the TV not to turn the channel. Among those places were the last place I had the oil changed in a car, a couple of fast food places and the Medical Practice where both my wife and I go. Sometimes I think they are paid to have Fox News on the TV.

13. I was forced to watch fox a few weeks ago....
I took my mom in to have minor surgery and fox was on the TV in the waiting room. No matter how many magazines you read, it's damn near impossible to ignore a loud television.

So here's what I learned that day. According to the fox "body expert", Clinton is overly aggressive and Obama is overly arrogant. I find this somewhat odd given the fact that Bush has been in the WH all this time.

It's tuned into CNN Headline News. I've never hated Nancy Grace and Glenn Beck more. Not only do they spew their bullshit, but they ruin my meals at McD's :(

17. Cheap at half the price
Our Post Office has FUCKED News on all the time, and in spite of my complaints, the postmaster just laughs at me. But now I tell him once Bush is out I'll write a letter to the new Postmaster general and get his ass fired.

Anyone whose vote was changed from Obama/Hillary to McCain by this story is an f***ing retard. What the f**k did Obama/Hillary have to do with this? What did they do to lose your vote? I might understand Republicans that were thinking of not bothering to vote being swayed to vote for McCain by this, but decideing to change your vote over this is about as stupid as it gets.

2nd comment: Fox is the bunch of idiots that said Obama was a Muslim and he was educated in a radical Madrasa by Osama bin Laden so they can go f**k themselves when it comes to unfounded stories, because they practically invented it.
