People seemed to be a "friendly crowd."
I hope that Dallas Deputy Police Chief T.W. Lawrence, head of the Police Department's homeland security and special operations divisions, sucked at his job, because today was the last day he gonna get to do it, I'd say. Even in the Good Ol' Boy network of Dallas, Texas, what happened today requires head rolling, and one who stands out is the fella who decided not to screen anymore of that friendly crowd.

Geez, that never, ever would have happened at a Bush Rally. Hell, at a Bush rally, if your shirt was the least bit offensive, friendly face or not, you were not going to get in, no matter how long the line.

They manage to say all of this with straight faces. Man, oh, man, that is just boggling.
