Poll question: In consideration of the latest revelations concerning John McCain...
...which statement do you believe best describe the likely fallout?

1) He'll never get another erection.

2) He'll never win the presidential election.

3) It will likely worsen his tired complexion.

4) From now on with his wife, he must strap on protection.

5) He'll never be firm without a double injection.

6) He'll report to a clinic and submit to inspection.

7) He'll be much more careful with future connections.

8) He'll retire and begin a stamp collection.

9) He'll complain to the media and insist on correction.

10) Other, please specify.

1. Other.
For me, voting in silly polls has never been a predilection.

2. Now that you've brought up the subject of your...
...predilections, in accordance with longstanding DU tradition, you must now list ALL of yours -- alphabetical order please.

3. You didn't rhyme this time.

I went to the trouble of making a selection that I hoped would create affection, but that apparently evaded detection.

:-)

7. Other--The GOP will vote en masse for him, on reflection!
Either because:

a. They believe he was victimized by the "librul" New York Times and he's a Godly man who is being punished for being a Good Republican.

b. They believe he DID play 'poke the lobbyist' and they think "Wow, you clever old bastard! You did it, and got her to deny it!! Now THAT's smooth!"

Innocent and persecuted, or bold and brazen?

10. Choice "a." sounds more like the Neocons I know...
...I don't think this would likely alienate anybody but the fundies, and they already detest McCain.

11. I know both kinds. The holier-than-thous, and the gimme-gimme-greedy types.
It's the latter who would go for the second scenario!
