Sen. Bill Nelson Won't Rule Out Vice Presidential Job
Says decision would have to come after convention in August.

U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, 65, of Florida said on Thursday in Deland, Fla., he would not rule out a vice presidential spot on the Democratic ticket.

The two-term Democratic lawmaker is traveling the state while Congress is on short recess. He fielded questions from about 65 people in DeLand, including one about whether he would consider being a vice presidential candidate.

Nelson laughed and noted that decision would have to come after the Democratic National Convention in August.

Well, you did your job well, sir. You fought all the way.

Bill Nelson is angry

Now you can reap the benefits.

6. I won't rule it out either. If they ask me,
I'll consider it. Though I'd hate to have to move to the other Washington.

I hope Obama isn't so naive that he doesn't realize he needs serious assassination insurance.

A DLC Vice President would be just the opposite. If he's smart, he'll pick Edwards.

16. Running with whom? Which of the Democratic candidates would want him? Maybe he's thinking ahead to
running with someone like Sen. Mark Pryor?
