Somebody needs to write these people and clue them in.
Here is a list of senators who voted for immunity for teleco.
Bayh (D-IN) Carper (D-DE) Conrad (D-ND) Feinstein (D-CA) Inouye (D-HI) Johnson (D-SD) Kohl (D-WI) Landrieu (D-LA) Lincoln (D-AR) Lieberman (ID-CT) McCaskill (D-MO) Mikulski (D-MD) Nelson (D-FL) Nelson (D-NE) Pryor (D-AR) Rockefeller (D-WV) Salazar (D-CO) Stabenow (D-MI) Webb (D-VA) Clinton (D-NY) {not voting helps the majority} these people should be ashamed.
1. For my part I refused to vote for stabenow in the last election.
I voted Green in that slot because I won't ever knowingly vote for a politician who supports raping the constitution (Military Commissions Act). When I wrote her office they sent out a form letter that basically said "while I understand you don't trust bush, in the future we'll have a Democrat in office....". She completely misses the point that it's not any more constitutional for a Democrat to destroy the writ of Habeas Corpus than it is for a repub.
What's the point of voting for a Dem if they're just going to vote like repubs?
and good for you that you wrote. I took time to write to each of these and let them no my discontent. Change starts even at our lower levels of government.
