1. he is a political prisoner being falsely held
how many more Siegelman's will there be?? This is another crime added to all the others done by this shameful and vile administration. How much evidence do they (The Congress) needs before they do something, they could be next.

13. Entire CBS VIDEO embedded in Scott Horton's Blog
CBS: More Prosecutorial Misconduct in Siegelman Case
Scott Horton - February 24, 2008 - http://harpers.org/archive/2008/02/hbc-90002487

CBS aired its long-awaited feature on the prosecution and imprisonment of former Alabama Governor Don E. Siegelman this evening at 7:00. In a stunning move of censorship, the transmission was blocked across the northern third of Alabama by CBS affiliate WHNT, which is owned by interests of the Bass Family. Those who were in the zone of censorship or who missed it, can catch the whole segment here: ...............

i don't understand why this isn't on top of every blog, website and newscast. The man was a Governor for JC's sake. How can I believe anything that comes out of any news outlet when I know that They Know what is going on.

5. We all need to thank CBS for running the story and ask Newsweek to get rid of
Rove.

6. It's ironic that the Bush Junta accuses Hugo Chavez of suppressing dissent--
Chavez who has harmed no one, who has jailed no one unjustly, and who presides over one of the liveliest political cultures in the western hemisphere, with elections that put our own to shame for their transparency--and it is HERE that we have political prisoners, not to mention tortured prisoners and prisoners held indefinitely without trial, the politicalization of justice, suppression of dissent, suppression of the vote, and stolen elections.

Pay attention to the crimes that Bushites accuse others of committing, because then you will know what THEY are doing!

--------------------

And we ought to pay special attention when Donald Rumsfeld chimes in with the word "tyrant" - because Oil War II may be coming our way, sooner rather later - and this time it's against a number of democracies in our own 'back yard' (Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina):

"The Smart Way to Beat Tyrants Like Chávez," by Donald Rumsfeld, 12/1/07

11. I was actually thinking of how much they criticize Castro!
All the candidates have mentioned Fidel's "Political Prisoners" in recent days, but ShrubCo did the same damn thing!

16. K&R - We need to get Siegelman out of that Alabama Gitmo, STAT!
This is draconian.
Beyond the pale, even for BushCo.
What needs to be done, to end his false imprisonment??
