1. Darn, I only caught the end of it.
Anyone out there hear the whole thing?

2. Larissa is encouraging people to contact "60 minutes" and request a follow up story
because they only had 15 minutes to cover a very complicated story and didn't get to the election fraud piece which started this whole travesty which is related to not just the fired federal judges but the ones who were kept on.

3. Great points Larissa is making
Of course, I expect nothing less from her.
Did she say anything about the need for 60 minutes to point out the transcripts not being done?
Another 60 minutes piece would also have the bonus of forcing that Alabama station to air the story.

6. Not sure whether she did or not.
I often have two radios on at once while I'm streaming AAR. And then I wonder why I'm confused. LOL

She did say however that the media has no access whatsoever to Seigelman and that BIG issue that was revealed last night was that whole case against him was predicated by testimony of a guy witnessing the transference of a check which allegedly happened days before the check was even cut. His testimony has been disproven.

7. That part about Nick Parker was stunning
Also, that he was repeatedly coached about that testimony. He then received a reduced sentence in exchange for this, though not as reduced as the prosecutors wanted.

I'm still working on getting my Monday morning coffee fix so I'm the one here who is really confused - and not quite awake.
I appreciate you catching me up on the info.

Larissa is hammering the story today. Wow, she's energetic and I thank her for that.

She already has two new stories up at Rawstory.

An interview with Simpson: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/In_exclusive_interview_Alabama_whistleblower_says_0225.html

And more on the Alabama blackout, complete with a shout out to DU: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/60_Minutes_broadcast_on_prosecution_of_0225.html
WHNT in Huntsville Alabama was purchased by Oak Hill Capital Partners from the New York Times Company early last year. Oak Hill is owned by the Bass brothers, Bush fundraisers at the "Pioneer" level – raising over $100,000 for the Bush-Cheney campaigns in both 2000 and 2004. Lee Bass is perhaps the best known member of the Bass family for his role in George W. Bush’s failed energy venture called Spectrum 7 and later for his bailing out of Harken Energy.

The Oak Hill connection emerged last night on Democratic Underground.

4. His guest said we need to let CBS know we liked the story and are interested.
She said to call, e-mail or write CBS.

Come on DU lets flood CBS.
