2. with his help we do not slaughter horses in illinois.
it`s quite a story how one woman and her friends stopped horse slaughter in dekalb illinois. but the fight is`t over because the owner of the plant is going back into federal court...

3. gosh, that's awful! I thought this matter had been settled in the US!
It's still a problem in Mexico, and US horses are sent there for slaughter -- I thought the fight had moved there. To hear that it's not over in the US is disheartening.
