WASHINGTON — On a party line vote, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee today approved giving its chairman the authority to subpoena former Republican Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell to testify about the 2004 election.

"The election (in Ohio in 2004) appeared to be deeply flawed," said Committee Chairman Rep. John Conyers Jr., D-Mich., on why Blackwell's testimony was needed as part of the committee's examination of voter suppression. The vote was 6-4.

Blackwell declined a written invitation from the committee and did not respond to a follow-up letter threatening a subpoena.

*************************

I want Mr. Blackwell keel hauled or maybe waterboarded.

6. "Party Line Vote"
that's all I need to know. The members of the party of integrity and responsibility don't give a fuck about either.

11. Isn't that amazing
Even if his politics were exactly the same. If he had a (D) after his name he would be corrupt and measured for a jail cell.

10. Send him to camp with the rest of them- their choice- GITMO or Abu Ghraib
Waterboarding will be one of many games they will be experiencing. They can test market some of the things we do and let us know whether these truly are torture. Not to mention the group photo ops (pyramid shots of course). All of them- round them up - Bush, Chaney, Rove, Ashcroft, Delay, Blackewell, Gonzalez- the more the merrier.

12. Blackwell DEFINITELY Knows Things
Early on election night 2004, when it looked like Kerry was going to win Ohio, Blackwell was being interviewed on the tube. He had a big shit-eating grin, and his message was, in effect, "oh I KNOW Bush will win Ohio". At that moment, I realized the fix was in and Blackwell was part of it.

14. Blackwell sent out voter registrations in summer and fall 2004
He later ruled that those very same registrations were invalid
because of the wrong weight of paper.

He also "found a way" to run the Ohio vote returns through
a server in Chattanooga, TN that just happened to host
the RNC, bush/cheney 04, and gwb43.com (rove & gonzales'
secret e mail account).

the man is soooooooooooooooooo f***ing dirty.

Lock up this scum bag. I'm watching John Kerry on GEM$NBC right now. Ohio was stolen from him thanks to Blackwell.
